Coffee growing in Colombia is deeply rooted in the country's history and identity. In the department of Antioquia, in the heart of Bolívar's lush mountains, growers perpetuate expertise handed down from generation to generation. The mineral-rich volcanic soils, the altitude of between 1,400 and 2,000 metres and a temperate climate offer ideal conditions for producing very fine coffees. This Supremo 17+ comes from a rigorous selection of large beans, guaranteeing quality and homogeneity. The cherries are hand-picked at perfect ripeness, then fermented for 18 to 24 hours before careful washing. Drying takes place mainly on patios in the sun, supplemented if necessary by mechanical drying to ensure consistent quality. A double sorting, manual and mechanical, ensures meticulous preparation before export. For this coffee, we have chosen a medium roast to preserve all its aromatic complexity. In the cup, it reveals a beautiful balance, with notes of lime, cocoa powder and hops.
