This coffee is handpicked in the Wahgi Valley, located in the East of the isle of New Guinea. It comes from the Sigri A plantation, where one of the best grand cru's on the planet is produced. The beans are partly composed of the botanical variety Typica, which stems from the same species as the legendary Jamaica Blue Mountain. The political instability of the country and the recent massive increase in popularity make this coffee an increasingly exclusive product.
